Job Summary
Load products, pull hoses, and climb on and off bulk trucks while driving Class B CDL vehicles to local construction sites, mines, and quarries. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, operate emulsion tanker and box trucks, and manage hazardous materials in compliance with DOT regulations. Work 8-12 hours daily from early morning starts, handling physical tasks like shoveling gravel and filling drilled holes in various weather conditions. Report incidents immediately and participate in daily toolbox talks. Requires valid Class B CDL, one year of driving experience, and ability to lift 60 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL
- Solid understanding of DOT regulations
- Minimum of one year of experience in driving and/or material handling
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and carry 50 pounds or more of product or materials
- Requires the ability to load product, pull large hoses, fill drilled holes, and climb on and off trucks
- Frequent shoveling of gravel to fill drilled holes throughout the day
- Regular pushing and pulling while working with equipment
- Other physical activities include frequent bending, squatting, and general mobility throughout the workday
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds
- Must be able to carry 50 pounds or more

- Must be able to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
- Must be able to check and refill fluid levels
- Must be able to operate emulsion tanker trucks and box trucks
- Must be able to ensure raw materials and hazardous goods are handled, stored, and used in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
- Must be able to minimize environmental impact through waste reduction and control practices
- Must be able to immediately report any unusual incidents or accidents
- Must be able to actively participate in daily toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings
