Job Summary

Drive Orica's bulk trucks and Mobile Manufacturing Units to local construction sites, mines, and quarries, performing approximately 60% physical installation work including loading products, pulling hoses, and operating control systems. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, manage fluid levels, and ensure hazardous goods compliance while minimizing environmental impact. Report incidents immediately and participate in daily toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings. This hybrid role requires early morning starts (4 AM), 8-12 hour days, and occasional overnight travel. Valid Class B CDL is required with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Class B CDL
  • Solid understanding of DOT regulations
  • Minimum of one year of experience in driving and/or material handling
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and carry 50 pounds or more of product or materials
  • Requires the ability to load product, pull large hoses, fill drilled holes, and climb on and off trucks
  • Frequent shoveling of gravel to fill drilled holes throughout the day
  • Regular pushing and pulling while working with equipment
  • Other physical activities include frequent bending, squatting, and general mobility throughout the workday
