Job Summary
Drive and operate Orica's bulk trucks and Mobile Manufacturing Units to deliver blasting products to construction sites, mines, and quarries. Perform 60% physical installation work including loading products, pulling hoses, operating control systems, and climbing on/off trucks in all weather conditions. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, manage fluid levels, and ensure hazardous materials compliance. Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety meetings while prioritizing environmental responsibility and incident reporting. Requires valid Class B CDL, DOT knowledge, and ability to lift 60 pounds. Monday through Friday schedule with early morning starts, 10-12 hours daily, and potential overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL
- Solid understanding of DOT regulations
- Minimum of one year of experience in driving and/or material handling
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and carry 50 pounds or more of product or materials
- Requires the ability to load product, pull large hoses, fill drilled holes, and climb on and off trucks
- Frequent shoveling of gravel to fill drilled holes throughout the day
- Regular pushing and pulling while working with equipment
- Other physical activities include frequent bending, squatting, and general mobility throughout the workday
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds
