Job Summary
Operate bulk trucks and Mobile Manufacturing Units to deliver blasting products to local construction sites, mines, and quarries. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, manage fluid levels, and handle hazardous goods in compliance with DOT regulations. Execute physical installation tasks including loading, pulling hoses, operating control systems, and climbing on/off equipment in all weather conditions. Minimize environmental impact through waste reduction and immediately report any incidents or accidents. Participate in daily toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings to maintain a safe work environment. Requires a valid Class B CDL, DOT knowledge, and ability to lift 60 pounds; schedule includes early morning starts, 10-12 hours daily, and up to 10% overnight travel.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL
- Solid understanding of DOT regulations
- Minimum of one year of experience in driving and/or material handling
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and carry 50 pounds or more of product or materials
- Requires the ability to load product, pull large hoses, fill drilled holes, and climb on and off trucks
- Frequent shoveling of gravel to fill drilled holes throughout the day
- Regular pushing and pulling while working with equipment
- Other physical activities include frequent bending, squatting, and general mobility throughout the workday
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds
- Must be able to carry 50 pounds or more

- Must be able to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
- Must be able to check and refill fluid levels
- Must be able to operate emulsion tanker trucks and box trucks
- Must be able to ensure raw materials and hazardous goods are handled, stored, and used in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
- Must be able to minimize environmental impact through waste reduction and control practices
- Must be able to immediately report any unusual incidents or accidents
- Must be able to actively participate in daily toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings
