Job Summary
Drive and operate Orica's bulk trucks and Mobile Manufacturing Units to deliver blasting products to local construction sites, mines, and quarries. Perform 60% physical work including loading products, pulling hoses, operating control systems, and climbing on/off the truck in all weather conditions. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, manage hazardous materials compliance, and report incidents immediately. Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety meetings. This hybrid role requires early morning starts, approximately 10-12 hours daily, and occasional overnight travel. Valid Class B CDL, DOT knowledge, and a high school diploma are required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL
- Solid understanding of DOT regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience in driving and/or material handling
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and carry 50 pounds or more of product or materials
- Ability to load product, pull large hoses, fill drilled holes, and climb on and off trucks
