Job Summary
Prepares trucks for operation by inspecting general condition, checking fluid levels, and securing required repairs. Loads trucks by ordering, placing, and securing items, then delivers by identifying destinations, following established routes, unloading, and maintaining schedules. Serves customers by resolving or forwarding complaints and adjusts orders as needed. Obtains payment by accepting cash and checks while maintaining safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organizational policies and state driving rules. Cleans truck interiors and maintains delivery, truck, and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgments and completing logs.
Required Qualifications
- CDL Class A or B License
- Clean driving record
- DOT regulated position
- Ability to obtain a Medical Certificate
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Ability to drive a new model box truck
- Home every nights
- No weekends
