Job Summary
CDL Class A Truck Driver needed to transport, deliver, and unload metal roofing panels to dealers, distribution centers, and construction job sites in an over-the-road (OTR) capacity. Responsibilities include safe handling and unloading, route delivery to multiple destinations, maintaining required records (driver logs, fuel purchases, mileage), performing pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring compliance with DOT and other regulations, and providing accurate information about packing lists, invoices, and materials. Must have a valid Class A CDL, be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and maintain safe operation of the vehicle. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience (including winter driving)
- Valid Medical Card
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Attention to safety and compliance with DOT guidelines
- Experience with completing driver logs, fuel purchases, mileage records
- Pre- and post-trip inspections
- Moffett operation experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of Federal Regulations for trucking
- Excellent communication and customer service
- Must be at least 18 years of age
