Job Summary
CDL Class A Team Driver for Regional/OTR routes based in Mesa, AZ. Responsible for planning and executing pickups and deliveries safely and on-time, inspecting and securing freight, recording driving statuses in MOTIVE ELD, managing rest breaks per DOT regulations, and coordinating with dispatch to address delays or issues. Team driving with split shifts, living quarters in sleeper cab, approximately 6,000+ miles weekly, and existing teams preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, layover and detention pay, home weekly, and weekly pay. Must hold a current Class A CDL and DOT medical card, be fluent in English, and meet insurability requirements. Physical duties include frequent lifting up to 50 lbs and teamwork in lifts over 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of CDL driving experience required
- OTR experience preferred
- Current Class A CDL and valid DOT medical card
- Must meet and maintain insurability under the company’s auto insurance policy
- Experience operating day cab and sleeper tractors with 53’ trailers
- Skilled in safely operating tractors and docking trailers in diverse conditions
- Must be able to remain fit for duty and exercise discretion in challenging driving conditions
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs; complete team (2 or more) lifts of over 50 lbs
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment and work as a Team
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
