Job Summary
Operate end dump and related trucks in construction sites, performing daily equipment maintenance and inspections while adhering to safety policies. Work hours include days, nights, and weekends; able to work in adverse weather. Bring 12 months of relevant driving experience, strong safety commitment, and familiarity with End dump, Belly dump, Tandem, Flow Boy or Super dump trucks, plus off-highway construction driving. Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check and hold a current State Class A (or B) license. Responsibilities include teamwork, safety meetings, and following company/DOT safety requirements; ability to meet project needs and operate equipment safely.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months relevant driving experience in the construction industry
- Strong commitment to jobsite safety
- Operational knowledge and skills of trucks and related equipment: End dump, Belly dump, Tandem, Flow boy or Super dump
- Experienced with Off highway driving in construction sites
- Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
- TXDOT physical
- Current State issued Class A and/or B driver’s license
- Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States; no sponsorship
- MVR must meet company and DOT standards
- Familiar with securing heavy and/or oversized loads
