CDL Class A Driver

Job Summary
CDL Class A Driver responsible for transporting goods to customers and facilities, inspecting loads, maintaining safety and schedules, providing professional customer service, handling delivery documentation, and potentially assisting with warehouse duties such as loading/unloading and order filling. Must have a valid Class A CDL, be able to start at 6:00 a.m., comply with DOT regulations, and align with safety and environmental guidelines. Hazmat endorsement is preferred and required within six weeks. The role includes operating various equipment, liftgate use, and potential interaction with customers while maintaining accurate delivery records. Home daily schedule with benefits including medical, retirement, and other per company offerings.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to start work at 6:00 a.m.
- Must observe all Department of Transportation and driving regulations resulting in a safe driving record and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
- Hazmat endorsement preferred and required within your first six weeks of hire.
- Ability to operate a variety of material handling equipment required.
- Liftgate experience preferred.
- Familiarity with a computerized warehouse system preferred.
- Excellent organizational, time management and customer relations skills are required.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail required.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Must have a valid Class A CDL.
- Position requires a minimum of 21 years of age.
