Job Summary
CDL Class A Driver responsible for transporting goods to customers, delivering and picking up stock, and collaborating with a team to ensure on-time, safe deliveries. Duties include inspecting loads, maintaining delivery records, upholding DOT regulations, providing professional customer service, and sometimes assisting with warehouse tasks such as loading/unloading, order filling, and using material handling equipment. The role requires adherence to safety and environmental policies, ability to operate liftgates and various equipment, and willingness to start at 5:00 a.m.; Hazmat endorsement is preferred and expected within six weeks. Required Qualifications
- Must be available to start work at 5:00 a.m.
- Must observe all Department of Transportation and driving regulations resulting in a safe driving record and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
- Hazmat endorsement preferred and required within your first six weeks of hire.
- Ability to operate a variety of material handling equipment required.
- Liftgate experience preferred.
- Familiarity with a computerized warehouse system preferred.
- Excellent organizational, time management and customer relations skills are required.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail required.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Must have a valid Class A CDL.
- Position requires a minimum of 21 years of age.
