Job Summary
Operate vehicles of the fleet, including flatbeds and vans, completing deliveries and back hauls with typically 1-2 stops per day. Follow routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely operations while maintaining accurate driving and delivery logs. Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations, reporting any safety concerns promptly. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays and adhere to all federal, state, and local laws. Report to work daily starting at 4:30 AM from south-central Maine, with overtime opportunities available. Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and Class A Commercial Driver's License (required)
- Previous CDL-A driving experience (required)
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination (required)
- Reliability; able to report to work on time daily and work independently
- Sitting for long durations (must be able to twist, turn, bend, stand, climb, kneel, and walk as required to perform the duties associated with the driver role)
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of incident-free commercial driving experience (preferred)
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to follow routes, directions, and schedules
