Job Summary
Operate electric trucks to safely transport containers to and from ports, completing thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections while following all DOT regulations and company safety procedures. Secure and transport loads, maintain accurate electronic logs and documentation, and communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and terminal personnel. Perform pickups and deliveries safely and on schedule, attend required safety meetings and training, and maintain a clean driving record while caring for company equipment. Work the night shift with a home daily schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Valid TWIC Card
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to work a night shift schedule
- Clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Hazmat endorsement
- Tanker endorsement
- Flatbed experience
