Job Summary
Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport hot-mix asphalt, road base, and millings from plants to active paving sites, ensuring correct temperatures and timely delivery. Crosstrain on lowboy trailers to load and move paving equipment, coordinate efficient and safe routes with dispatch, assist paving crew with material handling and site labor, perform and document Pre-Trip and Post-Trip inspections, manage delivery tickets and hours-of-service logs per FMCSA/DOT, maintain loads tarped/secured, and uphold Guardian Angel safety culture while working in on-site paving environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience
- Class A CDL with Tanker & Air-brake endorsement
- 2 – 3 years of CDL driving experience; experience specifically within the Asphalt/Paving industry is highly preferred.
