Job Summary
Conduct pre-trip inspections, turn in forms, and deliver palletized freight to customers while verifying load documentation and collecting payments. Maintain required DOT certifications, wash equipment daily, and assist with loading or pickup as needed. Operate a manual transmission tractor-trailer or straight truck with doubles/triples endorsement, handling hazardous materials, perishables, and live animals. Work Monday through Friday starting at 7:30 AM with 10-15 hours of overtime expected weekly. Earn $23.00-$27.00 per hour plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A driver's license
- Good driving record that meets company standards
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Full range of motion with no limits on grasping, standing, squatting, stair climbing, walking, etc.
- Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check
- At least 21 years of age
