CDL Class A Driver (Home Daily)

Job Summary
Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment between company facilities, suppliers, warehouses, and customers. Perform local deliveries, pickups, and transfers while conducting pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to report maintenance concerns. Execute trailer staging, swaps, and yard moves using company tractors and fleet equipment. Maintain compliance with DOT, FMCSA regulations, Hours-of-Service requirements, and temperature specifications for refrigerated trailers. Operate Electronic Logging Devices and provide route updates to internal teams and external partners. Work a home-daily 12-hour day shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) on a 3-4 rotating schedule. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Current DOT Medical Certificate
- Minimum of 1+ years of verifiable Class A commercial driving experience
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience transporting refrigerated or temperature-controlled freight
- Experience in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG)
- Experience using transportation management systems (TMS), GPS, or fleet management software
