Job Summary
Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods between warehouses, distribution centers, and customer locations while maintaining load accuracy and proper documentation. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report maintenance issues, and assist with loading/unloading shipments as required. Adhere to DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and company safety protocols, ensuring vehicle cleanliness and effective communication regarding delivery status. Maintain a valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and at least two years of recent CDL experience. Ability to work any shift, including weekends and holidays, is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL Class A) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of recent CDL driving experience
- Ability to perform basic physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, working in varied conditions)
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Flexible availability: able to work any shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic math and computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 6+ months of warehouse experience preferred
- Industrial or production environment experience is a plus
