Job Summary
Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods between warehouses, distribution centers, and customer locations while adhering to DOT regulations and OSHA safety standards. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report maintenance issues, ensure load accuracy and cargo security, and assist with loading/unloading shipments. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and communicate delivery status with supervisors. Requires a valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record, minimum two years of recent CDL experience, and ability to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL Class A) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of recent CDL driving experience
- Ability to perform basic physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, working in varied conditions)
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Flexible availability: able to work any shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic math and computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 6+ months of warehouse experience preferred
- Industrial or production environment experience is a plus
