Job Summary
Drive a tractor-trailer to various customers, safely and efficiently transporting product from the distribution center while delivering and unloading according to invoices and standards. Conduct daily face-to-face interactions with customers, representing Dawn Foods professionally. In direct store delivery settings, break down product and complete shelf stacking at each stop. Maintain multi-temp trailers, offload with electric pallet jacks or two-wheelers, and perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections while collecting invoice receipts. Obey all federal, state, and local road rules including DOT operating and safe food handling procedures. Work full-time shifts with start times ranging from midnight to 5:00 am, with days lasting 12-16 hours or until route completion.
Required Qualifications
- Class "A" CDL License in good standing
- Minimum of 6 months Class A Commercial driving experience
- Ability to work in the United States
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds consistently throughout work shift
- Ability to operate MHE equipment
- Ability to work Sunday – Friday shift schedule
- Ability to work start times ranging from Midnight - 5:00 am
- Ability to work 12-16 hour days
- Ability to work routes that may include overnight trips
