Job Summary
Drive exclusively for a dedicated account, delivering freight to stores across South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, and Ohio. Pick up no-touch live backhaul loads on the return trip to the distribution center. Hand-unload trailers using rollers and operate modern automatic 53' dry van trailers. Maintain a schedule with an average of 3 loads per week and 3 stops per load, totaling approximately 1,100 miles. Take your truck home weekly with a 34-hour reset.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A
- Must be able to hand-unload trailers using rollers
- Must be able to drive automatic sleeper trucks with 53' dry van trailers
- Must be able to haul freight exclusively for the account
- Must be able to deliver to stores across South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, and Ohio
- Must be able to pick up no-touch live backhaul loads on the return trip to the distribution center
- Must have a safe and secure parking location
