Job Summary
Haul freight exclusively for a dedicated account across South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, and Ohio. Deliver to stores with an average of three loads per week, each containing three stops, covering approximately 1,100 miles weekly. Pick up no-touch live backhaul loads on the return trip to the distribution center. Hand-unload trailers using rollers while driving modern automatic sleeper trucks with 53' dry van trailers. Operate with a predictable schedule that includes a 34-hour reset every week, allowing drivers to take their truck home if they have a secure parking location or utilize available parking near Cowpens.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A
- Must be able to hand-unload trailers using rollers
- Must be able to drive automatic sleeper trucks with 53' dry van trailers
- Must be able to haul freight exclusively for the account
- Must be able to deliver to stores across South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, and Ohio
- Must be able to pick up no-touch live backhaul loads on the return trip to the distribution center
- Must have a safe and secure parking location
