Job Summary
Transport and deliver freight locally in a safe, efficient, timely, and legal manner within 100 miles of the terminal. Perform required inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment, accurately document and log work/rest periods in the ELD, and safely load, unload, and secure all materials. Ensure operations comply with state and federal laws, communicate with Dispatch regarding movements or delays, and complete necessary shipping and billing paperwork. Maintain a current Class A CDL with Haz-Mat certification and a valid MVR, with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Work Monday through Friday with scheduled home daily hours, earning hourly pay with overtime after 40 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 23 years of age
- Must have and maintain a current valid commercial driver's license
- 2 years' CDL experience
- Class A license
- Haz-Mat Certification
- Must Pass MVR check
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of computer/communication devices
- Ability to navigate using a tablet, notebook, iPad, laptop, etc.
- Experience with personal email
