Job Summary
Drive safely, provide friendly customer service, and transport general public passengers on weekends and holidays for MV Dumbarton Express in Union City, CA. Report to shifts on time, communicate transport details via radio, and complete daily work shift documents tracking passenger counts. No previous bus driver experience is required, though a current California CDL with air brake endorsement and two years of driving experience are mandatory. Starting pay is $26.50/hour with paid training and benefits after probation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a current and valid California Driver's License with at least two (2) full years of experience
- Class B CDL with air brake endorsement required
- Able to communicate to passengers and over two-way radio using the English Language
- Be able to read a turn sheet to perform left and right turns and remember the routes
- Must be available for weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
