Job Summary
Operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer or straight truck on an assigned local route, safely delivering beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages from the warehouse to retail customers on schedule. Deliver within the scheduled window with the right product in the right quantity, rotate retailer stock, stock out-of-stocks, and partner with sales reps on account needs. Follow all safety policies and procedures, including pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Treat the tractor, trailer, wheeler, and electric pallet jack with care, keeping trucks and trailers clean inside and out. Maintain reliable attendance and efficient route execution to support team resources. Schedule includes a 4 or 5 day work week with a fixed early AM start (typically 5–6 AM) and home daily. Pay ranges from $53,000 to $66,000 annually. Crown Distributors delivers leading beverages to retailers across Central Kansas.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and maintain a current DOT medical card
- Must be able to report to work reliably and maintain regular attendance
- Ability to lift 30-pound cases on a regular basis
- Ability to handle kegs weighing up to 160 pounds
