Job Summary
Delivery position operating a 26ft straight truck within assigned route windows, delivering and unloading products to customers including schools, hospitals, and retailers. Responsibilities include loading/unloading with hand trucks, maintaining DOT rules, and meeting 25–35 stops per route. Shifts include early hours (dispatch 2am–5am), weekends, and holidays, with overtime. Training requires commuting to Newark, NJ. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement, life insurance, paid time off, and a $10k sign-on bonus; a helper is provided on route. CDL A or CDL B is required, with hourly pay: CDL A $31.50/hr and CDL B $28.50/hr plus bonus opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- CDL A or CDL B license
- Willingness to commute to Newark, NJ for training
- Ability to operate a 26ft straight truck
- Experience with loading/unloading merchandise using hand trucks
- Familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) rules
- Ability to work 2am-5am dispatch window
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Safety-conscious and reliable
