Job Summary
Operate a CDL B rear-load garbage truck on assigned residential collection routes, pulling and positioning rolling carts using a semi-automated lift system. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, exit frequently to collect waste, recycling, and bulk items, and haul materials to disposal facilities. Ride safely on the rear step between collection points and use in-truck technology for route management while interacting professionally with customers. Adhere to all company safety policies and DOT regulations. Start at 5 a.m. Monday through Friday for consistent 42–45 hours weekly, with home daily availability and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and up to 15% 401(k) contribution.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement
- Good driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to pass random drug screen
- Ability to comply with all applicable safety and drug and alcohol policies
