Job Summary
Transport freight between Service Centers and customers by loading, unloading, and operating a Class B tractor-trailer while performing pre and post trip inspections. Safely operate a forklift to move products, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and properly document all freight control processes. Read shipping papers, hazardous materials markings, and road signs; affix correct placards when necessary. Assist customers with shipping paper preparation and interact with internal and external stakeholders. Adhere to the Driver/Dockworker Manual and participate in company training programs. Be available for irregular schedules, alternating shifts, and assignments. Full-time daytime local work with competitive weekly pay starting at $28.00 per hour and overtime after 40 hours.
Required Qualifications
- At least 23 years of age
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement
- Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card
- No DUI, Citation/Conviction for Reckless Operations in the past 3 years
- Less than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Basic math skills
- Fluent in English
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Able to pass a drug screen
