Job Summary
Make safe, complete, and on-time local deliveries while complying with DOT and FMCSR regulations. Load and unload vehicles, ensuring hazardous materials are properly separated, and collect payments with accurate documentation. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and complete route optimization to ensure timely order fulfillment. Work Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm, with occasional Saturdays, guaranteeing at least 40 hours weekly. Requires a valid CDL with Hazmat endorsement, age 21 or older, and a clean MVR. Required Qualifications
- To be at least 21 years old
- A valid commercial driver's license, with HAZMAT endorsement
- A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) indicating no more than 2 combined violations or at fault accidents in the past 3 years
- The ability to maneuver heavy objects that can weigh up to 100 pounds
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- To carry out instructions with minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with PCs and other material handling equipment (preferred)
- Moffett, Skelly or Air Brake experience a plus
