Job Summary
CDL-B Driver position based in LeRoy, NY. Safely transport and deliver explosives/hazardous materials to company job sites using Class B vehicles. Responsibilities include maintaining load manifests and necessary shipping documents, performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, loading/unloading, securing loads, adhering to DOT safety rules, and communicating status to supervisor/dispatcher. Must maintain professional appearance, comply with all traffic laws, and participate in ongoing field operations meetings and training. Responsibilities extend to documenting incidents, supporting maintenance scheduling, and representing the company professionally. Strong emphasis on safety, independent work ethic, and adaptability to changing schedules. Compensation ranges from $25-$30/hour DOE, with annualized pay estimated between $52,000 and $62,400 for full-time employment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Class B CDL license with Haz-mat Endorsement
- Haz-mat Endorsement (required)
- Tanker Endorsement (preferred)
- DOT medical fitness card

- Solid understanding of Federal DOT/State regulations as it relates to hazardous material transportation, trucking and interstate commerce
