Conduct complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, and safety equipment are in proper working order. Safely operate a collection truck along designated routes to service customers, reading route sheets and following dispatcher assignments. Perform compactor operations to lift, load, and dispose of refuse at designated facilities while identifying and tagging unsatisfactory waste containers. Complete daily vehicle condition reports and route productivity sheets to track performance and ensure compliance with company safety policies. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational readiness to minimize downtime, adhering to all state and federal regulations.
