Job Summary
Perform touch-freight tasks involving lifting, moving, or carrying products over 75 lbs. Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify load accuracy while notifying branch management of potential site hazards. Set up job parameters, inspect the site for a safe loading environment, and maintain regular communication with the dispatcher for timely deliveries. Adhere to all DOT and company safety procedures, wearing appropriate PPE. Requires a valid Class B CDL, 12 months of commercial driving experience, and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class B CDL license in good standing
- At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to lift, move, or carry products weighing over 75 lbs
- Must be able to perform touch-freight tasks
- Must follow all DOT and company safety procedures
- Must wear appropriate PPE
