Job Summary
Ensure successful and timely delivery of products across Virginia retail routes. Operate two wheeled hand trucks and electric or hydraulic pallet jacks to move cases of beer, bottles, and quarter and half barrels. Perform frequent two-handed lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, walking, climbing stairs, and sustained squatting or bending to transport items from floor to overhead or 48 inches. Work Monday through Friday between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM or until route completion. Earn $24-$26/hour. Requires valid CDL B, high school diploma, and experience driving full-sized straight trucks.
Required Qualifications
- valid and clean CDL B driver's license
- high school diploma or GED
- experience driving full-sized straight trucks
- valid Real ID driver's license in compliance with federal identification standards
- Must be able to lift 10 to 30 lb.
- Must be able to lift 25 to 48 lb.
- Must be able to lift 87 lb.
- Must be able to lift 165 lb.
- Must be able to walk and climb steps and stairs on a frequent basis
- Must be able to perform two handed lifting, handling, carrying cases from floor to overhead on a frequent basis
- Must be able to push and pull two wheeled hand truck with cases on level surfaces on a frequent basis
- Must be able to push and pull pallet jacks with cases and/or barrels on level surfaces on an occasional basis
- Must be able to sustain squatting, kneeling, stooping and bending while moving cases and barrels
