Job Summary
Operate company straight and box trucks safely to deliver pre-sold products to customer accounts while rotating stock in dry and refrigerated storage areas. Ensure all pallets are secure, collect empty containers, and load dunnage and load bars back to suppliers. Complete the Daily Vehicle Inspection Report and maintain a professional attitude with customers and team members. Work Monday through Friday from 5:45 AM to approximately 1:00 PM, with end times varying based on route and delivery volume. Lift approximately 55 lbs and use hand trucks on inclines in varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 21 years of age
- Active CDL Class B License in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating CDL B trucks
- Strong safety-oriented mindset and adherence to safe driving practices
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Availability to work Monday through Friday starting at 5:45 AM; end times may vary between 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM depending on route and delivery volume
- Must be able to stoop, bend, lift, and twist regularly
- Must be able to lift approximately 55 lbs
- Must be able to operate a two-handed hand truck on inclines and stairs
- Requires frequent walking up and down stairs and inclines
- Must have sufficient vision and hearing to perform job duties safely and effectively
