Job Summary
Practice safe job practices for repairing complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment while using independent judgment. Maintain and update electronic work orders daily, assist in training lower-level technicians, and support equipment pick-up and delivery. Travel to customer job sites for repairs when required, maintaining the service vehicle in a professional manner. Complete OEM training year-round and apply knowledge of OSHA requirements. Own applicable tools and demonstrate advanced mechanical aptitude with a working knowledge of schematics.
Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
- Must pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
- Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements
