Job Summary
Communicate with dispatchers for truck and door assignments, then move trailers between buildings as directed. Load, unload, or merge loads between environments, stage shuttle trailers nightly, and set up backhauls with tractors and empty pallets. Ensure all equipment is paired and ready for next-day deliveries, working with mechanics nightly and attending required company meetings. Maintain valid CDL Class A with necessary endorsements, operate manual transmission if required, and lift 20 to 80+ lbs of product repetitively. Work Monday through Friday from 4:30 PM until finish, earning $23.89/hour generally.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum of six months Class A commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records
- Must attend all required company meetings
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required
- Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
