Job Summary
Move trailers within the yard and to dock doors using NFI's dedicated spotter fleet, performing yard checks for trailer maintenance and counts. Operate late-model equipment with advanced safety features while adhering to federal and state laws, DOT qualifications, and customer rules. Report equipment problems, accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after routes. Maintain physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally, and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area. Work a home-daily schedule with consistent hours, earning $23–$24 per hour. Join a family-owned logistics company where drivers are recognized by name and supported in their career growth.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Current Class A CDL from your state of residence
- Minimum six months of relevant tractor-trailer experience
- Acceptable references from past employers
- Meet all applicable DOT qualifications
- Physically capable of performing all job duties, which include moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting
- The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms
- The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg
- The associate must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle
- Ability to safely and frequently enter/exit the rear cargo area
- Ability to perform routes, pickups & deliveries based on customer requirements
