Job Summary
Move trailers in the yard, in and out of dock doors, and perform yard checks for trailer maintenance and counts using NFI's dedicated spotting fleet. Operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer safely while adhering to all federal, state, and customer regulations. Report equipment problems, accidents, traffic violations, and damage promptly. This home-daily, local position requires a minimum of six months of relevant tractor-trailer experience and offers hourly pay of $23.50–$24.50 with health, dental, vision, and Rx benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Current Class A CDL from your state of residence
- Minimum six months of relevant tractor-trailer experience
- Acceptable references from past employers
- Meet all applicable DOT qualifications
- Physically capable of performing all job duties, which include moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting
- The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms
- The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg
- The associate must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle
- Ability to safely and frequently enter/exit the rear cargo area
- Ability to perform routes, pickups & deliveries based on customer requirements
