Job Summary
Walk the yard to identify and document vehicle defects in the DVCR booklet, then obtain equipment lists to record odometer, hub readings, and engine hours for weekly submission to lease companies. Reposition commercial tractors and trailers on designated non-highway areas, including backing trailers to dock doors and shuttling units to logistic suppliers. Ensure refrigerated products maintain adequate temperature, assist with unloading, and take trailers for washing while complying with safety policies and uniform standards. Clock in and out through the People Net system, maintain all necessary paperwork, and attend scheduled safety meetings and training sessions. Work Sunday through Thursday from 7am to 3pm with mandatory overtime, requiring a valid Class A CDL, six months of verifiable CMV experience, and DOT medical certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Six months of verifiable CMV driving experience
- Must have valid Class A Commercial Driver's License [CDL] w Air Brakes
- Must maintain a DOT Med Cert
- Must always meet the defined MVR standards to remain qualified to drive company commercial motor vehicle
- Must successfully pass a background check every third year on your anniversary date
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including but not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as a short notice on occasion
- Must be able to work weekends if needed
- OT is mandatory as needed
- Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to climb stairs
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. on occasion
- Ability to perform heavy pushing/pulling of product
- Ability to work in refrigerated conditions [33-38 degrees]
- Ability to work in outdoor weather [rain, sleet, heat, snow, etc.]
- Ability to work in an environment with exposure to loud machinery, when necessary
- Must comply with DOT log regulations
- Must comply with all local, state, federal, and Domino's safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Must be able to work weekends if needed
- Must be able to work OT as needed
