Job Summary
CDL A Team Truck Drivers needed at R+L Carriers in Ypsilanti, MI. Pull vans up to 53’ or double trailers between service centers. Teams are on the road 5 days and home 2 days each week. Includes PTO after 90 days and an extensive benefits package with employee resorts. Candidates must have a CDL Class A, at least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving in the last 3 years, clean MVR/PSP, be 23 (21 if FMCSA military transition), pass DOT physical and drug screen, pass a road test, and be able to lift and bend as required. Preferred: doubles/triples, tanker, hazmat endorsements; hazmat experience and LTL freight experience.
Required Qualifications
- CDL Class A
- 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
- Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years
- Age 23, 21 if FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
- Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
- Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
- Must be able to complete a successful road test
- Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
- Must be dependable
