Job Summary
Transport freight, including customer orders, from fulfillment centers to cross docks for last-mile delivery while navigating designated routes with a commitment to safety and on-time performance. Operate a Class A company vehicle in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, prioritizing safety during driving, loading, and unloading. Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately, including delivery logs, invoices, inspections, and hours of service logs. Maintain open communication with dispatch, warehouse, and leadership to report delays or schedule changes promptly. Available for Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday shifts with flexible start times, including around-the-clock rotations to accommodate freight movements.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Possess a valid state issued driver's license for at least 3 years
- Valid Class A Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Must possess valid DOT required medical card and be registered with DOT
- 2 years of previous tractor-trailer driving experience and/or be a graduate of a State certified and Licensed truck driving school
- Comfortable operating a tractor-trailer in all types of weather conditions
- Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you to
- Ability to sit, stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
- Experience working in a food based environment
