Job Summary
CDL Class A Truck Driver responsible for planning and executing pickups and deliveries using tractor-trailer across intercity/local routes, loading/unloading with forklifts and pallet jacks, maintaining logs, inspecting vehicles, and providing excellent customer service. Must adhere to DOT regulations, possess forklift certification, operate forklifts/double-stackers, and collaborate with CDP Leads and Transportation/Logistics staff. Role requires strong safety awareness, ability to work extended hours, and capability to navigate urban and rural Indiana routes with a focus on safety and efficiency. Location-based duties at Greenwood, IN.
Required Qualifications
- Current CDL Class A license
- Forklift Operator certification or ability to obtain
- Ability to comply with DOT regulations
- Strong driving record and background check clearance
- Experience operating tractor-trailer and loading/unloading with forklifts
- Knowledge of safety procedures and vehicle inspection
- Ability to read maps and plan routes
- Customer service orientation
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform heavy manual tasks
- Experience with pallet jacks, double stackers, and related equipment
- Ability to work non-standard hours (evenings/weekends)
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external customers
