Job Summary
Operate CDL Class A vehicles to safely transport and apply liquid and dry materials using onboard systems. Load and unload trucks, tanks, railcars, and containers while performing basic maintenance on pumps, tanks, and meters. Troubleshoot equipment issues, communicate with dispatch, and follow all DOT regulations, ELD usage, and safety protocols. Support plant operations or additional duties as needed. This high-travel position requires flexibility with schedule and hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call work. The role involves exposure to weather conditions, chemicals, and physical demands like lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain endorsements: Tanker, Doubles/Triples, Air Brakes
- 2+ years operating DOT-regulated vehicles
- Experience with manual transmission
- Experience driving in winter and/or mountain conditions
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol screening
- Comfortable using ELD systems and basic mobile technology
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call work
