Job Summary
Conduct pre and post-trip inspections, plan routes to meet delivery schedules, and safely transport goods from one location to another. Perform loading and unloading using equipment including tractor trailers, ramps, and pallet jacks, while reviewing paperwork for completeness and accuracy. Maintain a clean and organized truck and report any issues or incidents to the dispatch team, ensuring DOT compliance and on-time deliveries. Operate an 18-wheel tractor/trailer to deliver and pick up products from stores, working weekends, nights, and holidays with a minimum of two years of experience. Based at a distribution center within Albertsons Companies, one of the largest food and drug retailers in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must have a safe driving record / clear MVR
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Able to operate an 18-wheel tractor / trailer to deliver and pick up products from the stores
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving a 53ft. tractor / trailer
- Must be willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
