Job Summary
Conduct pre and post-trip inspections, safely transport goods between locations, and plan routes to meet delivery schedules. Perform loading and unloading using equipment including tractor trailers and pallet jacks, while reviewing paperwork for accuracy and ensuring DOT compliance. Maintain a clean and organized truck and report any incidents to the dispatch team. This role involves predominantly local hauls with the ability to sleep in your own bed daily, working weekends, nights, and holidays. Based at a distribution center supporting Albertsons' retail network across 34 states.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must have a safe driving record / clear MVR
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Able to operate an 18-wheel tractor / trailer to deliver and pick up products from the stores
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving a 53ft. tractor / trailer
- Must be willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
