Job Summary
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, safely transport goods between locations, and plan routes to meet delivery schedules. Perform loading and unloading operations using equipment such as tractor trailers, ramps, and pallet jacks, while reviewing paperwork for accuracy and ensuring DOT compliance. Maintain a clean and organized truck, report incidents to dispatch, and communicate professionally with customers and vendors. Work predominantly on local hauls with a schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must have a safe driving record / clear MVR
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Able to operate an 18-wheel tractor / trailer to deliver and pick up products from the stores
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving a 53ft. tractor / trailer
- Must be willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
