Job Summary
CDL-A Truck Driver for Albany Trucking. Drive either Over-the-Road or Dedicated routes with reliable home time (typically two weeks out, then 2 days home, or as needed). No-touch, dry van freight that is 70% drop-and-hook, with most loads automotive and primarily east of I-35, averaging 500-mile hauls. Dispatcher checks in daily and you’ll know your next load before finishing the current one. Fleet includes trucks never older than three years; home with secure parking when within 50 miles of a terminal. Weekly pay around $1,300–$1,500 with CPM base pay between $0.45–$0.55, plus bonuses and benefits. Terminals in multiple states; orientation paid. Requires CDL-A and ability to meet home-time policies; opportunity for growth from OTR to Dedicated or Local and for mentoring new drivers.
