Job Summary
CDL A Truck Driver role with Albany Trucking focused on steady miles and home time. Responsibilities include operating dry van freight, typically automotive loads mostly east of I-35, with 70% drop-and-hook and no-touch freight. Expect weeks of 2,500–3,000+ miles, home every 10–14 days, and potential to switch between OTR, Dedicated, or Local assignments. Compensation features base CPM of $0.45–$0.55 plus performance bonuses up to $750/month and average weekly pay around $1,300–$1,500, with benefits including health/dental/vision, 401K with match, vacation, detention and layover pay, paid orientation, and pet/rider policies under lease-purchase terms. Equipment is modern (trucks never older than three years) with regular maintenance, and terminals located in AR, TX, OH, and NC with home-time flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- CDL A license
- No-touch, dry van freight (70% drop-and-hook)
