CDL A Truck Driver

Drive for Albany Trucking as a CDL A Truck Driver on either Over-the-Road or Dedicated routes. Maintain home time every 10-14 days with two weeks on the road and two days off; no-touch, dry van freight primarily automotive east of I-35 with weekly solo mileage around 2,500–3,000 miles. Dispatcher checks in daily and you’ll know your next load before dropping the current one. Company offers competitive weekly pay, base CPM of 0.45–0.55 with up to $750/month in performance bonuses; average weekly pay ranges from $1,300–$1,500 depending on miles and hiring area. All miles (loaded, empty, and bobtail) are paid. Benefits include health, dental, and vision coverage from day one of the month after 60 days, a 401(k) with company match, vacation accrual, detention and layover pay, orientation pay of $200, and flexible opportunities to switch between OTR, Dedicated, or Local as openings arise. Pet and rider policies vary by status; lease-purchase drivers may have dogs with no weight restrictions, solo drivers cannot have pets, and riders can be immediate family members aged 13+ (non-family riders 18+).
