CDL A Truck Driver

CDL-A Truck Driver with Albany Trucking. Operate tractor-trailer on either Over-the-Road or Dedicated routes with home time every 10–14 days. No-touch, dry van freight (70% drop-and-hook) and average loads around 500 miles, primarily east of I-35. Weekly solo mileage typically 2,500–3,000 with security in dispatch via daily check-ins. Fleet trucks are modern (Peterbilt 579s, Internationals, Freightliners) and you may take your truck home with secure parking within 50 miles of a terminal. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401K with company match, paid vacation after 1–5 years, detention and layover pay, and paid orientation. Terminals in multiple states; opportunity to switch to Dedicated or Local as openings arise, and potential to mentor new drivers. Orientation is three days with meals and transportation provided, and driver pays $200 for completing it.
