Job Summary
Transport loaded and empty trailers, singles or doubles, from GFS Distribution Centers or point-to-point via night transit. Operate a 10 speed transmission without auto restriction, pushing and pulling up to 50lbs on connecting trailers. Read labels, pick lists, scanners, and signage while completing paperwork and following verbal instructions. Work the 3rd shift from 5pm to Midnight, Sunday through Thursday, with an average pay of $75,000 to $80,000. This role offers daily home time and no touch freight requirements for drivers with a Class A CDL and Doubles endorsement.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL License at hire
- Doubles (T) endorsement
- At least 21 years of age
- Minimum of 1 year driving experience with your class A Doubles (T) endorsement
- Must be able to push and pull up to 50lbs (connecting trailers)
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
- Clean driving record
- Must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent
- No Auto Restriction
- Must be able to operate a 10 speed transmission
